Heather Denton

Heather Denton is a part-time novelist and full-time Texan with a Jane Austen sensibility, who writes in a cinematic style to make people laugh and fall in love. Before she turned her pen to novels, she wrote a dozen feature-length screenplays in a variety of genres. She earned a B.A. in English Literature with a minor in film and then tried to ignore the siren call of creating by earning an M.S. in Higher Education. Heather is happiest reading, writing, cooking, befriending every dog she meets, and spending time with friends and family. She also produces and co-hosts a podcast with her sister called I Love You But.

Lasting Impressions: a modern romance was published widely in 2025. Unholy Matrimony: Part I of the Hellalicious Novella Trilogy will be available soon via Amazon. My most recent contemporary, romantic comedy, Fashioning Romance, will be available later this summer. Stone Cold Btch, the second novella in Hellalicious Trilogy should be available in December 2026.
